"

Miguel Angel House has stressed that in these last 15 years we have managed to change Murcia.

Today we live in a municipality with more welfare, higher quality of life and opportunities.

In addition, the mayor has stated that "the water, ever so necessary and desired in our region, is another major challenge to generate hope, work, employment and progress.

Therefore, I consider essential to establish a system ensuring the Mediterranean arc supply and provision of water for human and economic activity. "

Miguel Ángel Cámara added that Murcia is now a modern and open to the future, seventh in the country in population, which does not shirk the challenge.

"A place where walking is a pleasure, for the splendid weather that adorns it, and is proud of its monuments and heritage, but whose main wealth lies mainly in its people, open and hospitable," he concluded

The mayor has completed his Master Lesson with a call for hope: "Today, more than a century and a half later, I invite you to look forward, again, hopefully, convinced that our city is eligible to build a future of success, confidence, prosperity and employment. "
