The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House, has received representatives of the groups participating in the XLIII International Festival of Folklore in the Mediterranean.
The mayor has participated in the exchange of gifts between the groups, which this year come from Austria, Cuba, Israel, Kenya, Panbamá, Cáceres, Palencia, Alhama de Murcia and groups Virgen de la Vega, Francisco Salzillo and The Crilla the municipality.
At the reception Councillors have also participated Rafael Gómez, Fátima Barnuevo, Beatriz Hontoria, and festival director, Manuel Fernández-Delgado.
Furthermore, it has delivered the Gold Pin Festival posthumously to Ruth Naomi Obyango engaged African group of Kenyan Graves died in an accident in Murcia in 2008.
The distinction has collected the group's director, Antony Karundu.
