The City provides new tennis courts, paddle tennis, football-7, children's entertainment areas and gardens
Murcia City Council initiates proceedings for the demolition of the municipal stadium of La Condomina and construction of new sports facilities in that area.
The Board of Governors approved the specifications for the preparation of the feasibility study of the demolition of the stadium and the construction and subsequent management of municipal facilities in that plot.
The companies have a period of one month to present their projects.
The estimated investment is € 18,000.
The Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, provides that in the space occupied by La Condomina, with 22,000 square meters, constructed tennis courts, paddle tennis, football-7 artificial grass, green areas and zones playground.
This is outdoor facilities to enjoy, all Murcia.
Companies must submit their proposals and to define the sports and leisure facilities that could be built in that area.
The municipality of La Condomina stadium opened in 1924 and from that date until the 2006/2007 season has been the playground of Real Murcia.
When it opened La Condomina had the largest field of all those who had at that time in Spain.
