Carry out actions to a temporary shelter for immigrant women in social risk, with or without dependents to accompany the process of social integration deficit after socioeconomic status is the objective of the project that the Municipality of Murcia, through of the Department of Health and Human Services, which runs Fulgencio Cervantes, has subsidized with 27,500 euros.
Such actions, which will be carried out by the Association Columbares and which is expected to benefit some 20 women, has the following objectives:
- To facilitate the reception of single immigrant women with dependent children or pregnant women who are at risk of social exclusion.
- Facilitate the social and professional integration of immigrant women with difficulties in social integration, through better training.
The activities are:
- Accommodation and meals.
- Financial arrangements for transport and diverse.
- Information services and training to facilitate social and professional integration courses, workshops, techniques and strategies for job search, employers and businesses, mediation, coaching ....
- Legal advice.
- Translation and interpretation.
- Guidance and Counselling Service.
- Processing of the health card, medical review and update the immunization schedule.
- Learning from the Castilian language.
- Referral if necessary to other host programs.
- Intercultural mediation.
- Social and psychological care in the home host.
