Murcia City Council joins the celebration of the Cooperating starting an awareness campaign to publicize the work being undertaken by ONG'D with the support of Murcia.
This campaign will start in the last week of September with a photo exhibition at the Cultural Center of the Barrio del Carmen, where you can meet the Millennium Development Goals and the work of the African ONG'D .
That week will also start raising awareness with young people, schools and colleges taking the work they are doing the ONG'D the municipality.
Cooperating Day is set on 8 September, coinciding with the date of the Millennium Declaration, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 2000 and signed by 189 countries around the world.
The Millennium Declaration has eight goals:

The Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, who heads Beatriz Hontoria, joins this celebration and would like to pay tribute to all those people who go to work in less developed countries, either in development cooperation projects or providing humanitarian assistance in areas that have suffered a disaster.
The projects being worked on by the municipality ONG'D cooperating cover essential needs for human development and disadvantaged countries in areas of health, education, productive, social services, governance and humanitarian assistance mainly.
Providing health care in doctors' offices, building schools, promoting productive through the creation of small communities, cooperatives or microenterprises, and support projects for municipalities.
The ONG'D the municipality, municipal supported work primarily on projects in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay, Togo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Algeria, Mauritania, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, India and Haiti.
Charity concert
The Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation and the Action Blue ONG'D have organized a benefit concert with the participation Second, Santiago Campillo, Noisebox, The Magnetics, The Bad and Make My Story.
The goal is to raise funds for a motor carrier operating room for eye operations in Africa. The concert will be held on September 25, from 20:30 pm in the Municipal Auditorium Murcia Park.
Tickets will cost 10 euros and 8 euros to the university card.
Can be purchased at the box office the day of Murcia Park concert, and El Corte Ingles, Servicam and Ticketmaster, from Thursday 9 September.
