The University of Murcia will host the 7th and 8th of September "on Universities Peer Learning Activities (PLA), a seminar organized by the European Commission, will discuss new forms of funding for universities.
The meeting is held for the first time in Spain and meet a 30 experts from ten European countries, which analyzed the costs of research to be taken to the Eighth Framework Programme.
Also consider issues such as the introduction of new indicators of university funding and their role in the economic crisis.
The PLA will be held in the Chamber of Arts and will be opened tomorrow, day 7, at 9:30 pm by the president of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, the Minister for Universities and Research Company, Salvador Marin, the general director of University Policy, Ministry of Education, Juan José Moreno, the latter agency has coordinated the conference in collaboration with the educational institution Murcia.
