Unión Progreso y Democracia requested last May, by submitting a written record of the City Council for inclusion in the protocol of the Consistory.

Miguel Ángel Cámara to exchange ideas and present UPyD formally as policy formation, given the firm intention of the party to be present at the upcoming municipal elections of 2011.
The Coordinator of the Local Council of Murcia, Rubén Juan Serna said: "We do not understand the silence of the City Council to our request to be included in the acts of municipal councils or the silence of Mayor House to meet with our training. Unión Progreso y Democracia obtained in the municipality of Murcia on the last European Parliament elections 6174 votes (being the third force), which represented 4.20% of the total percentage of about 5% which would allow entry into the City Council next year.
Thus Serna said: "Do not respond to our request or our request is a slight meeting by the Mayor to over six thousand UPyD Murcia who supported last year."
