Popular Culture Councilman visits the auditorium and music school
Work on the new municipal cultural center of Guadalupe continues apace to give the hamlet of an auditorium and music school to improve and expand social and cultural supply offered to the neighbors.
This work is funded by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability and municipal Urbamusa developer was responsible for drafting the basic design and implementation.
Completion is scheduled for the end of 2010.
Councilman Quality and Modernization of the Administration, Events and Popular Culture, Rafael Gomez, this week visited the works carried out in two separate modules: one for the use of the auditorium and multipurpose room and another to School Music.
Among the features of this project, designed by architect Guillermo Jiménez Barn and the rigger Pina Gregorio Gea, include good sound with which he endows the multipurpose room which houses the stage and the crowd.
On the other hand, will create five soundproof classrooms for the school.
In addition, the building will have a secondary stage outdoors.
The room and multipurpose auditorium will have a dimension of 564 meters, while the music school will have a total of 308.
To this must be added the 147, lobby and exhibition area, which makes a total of 1,021 meters of surface for the new center.
The municipal cultural center of Guadalupe is located in the streets Historian Francisco Mateo and Francisco Pizarro.
Its auditorium will seat 300 people and removable stage, in addition to classrooms designed for musical training, as well as other areas such as workshops, classrooms and offices with a total area of 1,000 square meters.
I recall the long tradition of music that exists in Guadalupe, coexisting with the Musical Union and the Association Guadalupana Musical The Muses.
In the works of the new center, awarded to the Guadalupe SL UTE 786,250 euros will be invested and generate employment for 50 people.
Besides this project, the network of community centers in the coming months will include another 12 buildings: local initiatives center of Murcia, municipal social center in Rincon de Seca, Lobosillo, Quarter Quarter Progress and The Azacaya in Beniaján, youth center in El Palmar, extension of social center of Llano de Brujas, rehabilitation of the municipal center of El Palmar and Garcia Alix and the adequacy of local social center in the Rane.
