The Mayor visits the construction of multipurpose center Stables where the City Council and the Autonomous Region have invested 800,000 euros
Stables neighbors next year will have a multipurpose center sponsored by the City and the Autonomous Region, through the Presidential and Public Administration.
This is one of the thirteen municipal premises are being built now in neighborhoods and districts, financed from regional budgets, state or local council, and whose total investment budget amounts to almost 10 million euros.
With these actions, the residents of the municipality are at your service more and better public spaces, thus enhancing their quality of life.
The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, visited the works being carried out in Stables.
The new facility, located next to the swimming pool, are built on a plot of 1,300 m2 and will house the headquarters of the local police and a community center with different uses, from juvenile classroom library, computer room and assembly hall .
The project budget amounts to € 800,000, of which the Ministry of the Presidency and government to provide 500,000 euros and 300,000 remaining the City of Murcia.
A similar multi-purpose center, and with the same cost and financing, is under construction in Cabezo de Torres.
In this case, the premises will house the City Hall, room of women and culture and meeting facilities.
Besides these two projects, the network of community centers in the coming months will include 11 additional properties: local initiatives center of Murcia; cultural center in Guadalupe, municipal social center in Rincon de Seca, Lobosillo, Quarter Quarter Progress and The Azacaya in Beniaján; youth center in El Palmar, extension of social center of Llano de Brujas, rehabilitation of the municipal center of El Palmar and Garcia Alix and the adequacy of local social center in the Rane.
