The Ministry of Education, Training and Employment will invest this year in Murcia over 3.5 million euros to promote the creation of 132 jobs in the municipality.
The investment will undertake improvements to public spaces, developing employment workshops and meet the business development officers and counselors who help the reintegration of jobseekers.
The head of the Ministry, Sotoca Constantino, explained that encourage the hiring investment by the council of 47 unemployed people who will tackle the regeneration of the horticultural and design of incubators and Mayayo Cabecico.
In addition, will produce artificial stone items for decoration and equipment of different parks and gardens of Murcia and hamlets.
Within this investment plan, the municipality of Murcia will also launch two employment workshops which will be allocated two million euros of the total, that will continue the construction of the Local Police Headquarters in the village of La Alberca and train the unemployed in different areas such as caring for dependents, plus learn how to make menus or the installation, repair and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning.
Sotoca stated that the aid will also allow the hiring of two new local development agents, who will join the network of agents in the region and to collaborate on the promotion and implementation of active employment policies, primarily related to the development of new business in the municipality.
The program also includes a section devoted to the development of orientation activities for employment and self-employment assistance (OPEAS), currently developed by counselors who accompany the unemployed in job placement process.
