The socialist mayor Marcos Ros PP requires the City to hire immediately the expansion to three lanes of the bridge of La Fica, a work that is contemplated in the 2010 budgets of the Planning Department.
"We are in August and have not yet hired," complains Ros, who recalled that this proposal was made at the plenary session of October last year by the Socialist Group, where Berberena councilman said the bridge would be implemented and would work the same Fica time-Beniaján Avenue.
Thus, the PSOE mayor accuses the local government foresight to engage the shaft works Fica-Beniaján and not have solved the black dot when the opening of this road the area will experience an increase of traffic.
Easy solution
In this regard recalling that the current bridge of La Fica 2 lanes in south-north direction is a "bottleneck" between the southern ring road (3 lanes) and Avenida Primero de Mayo (3 lanes).
"Jams occur daily in the bridge as a result of the narrowing, and a considerable accumulation of vehicles in that 'black spot' easily solved if extended as soon as possible Fica Bridge to three lanes," he insists Ros.
