The Board of MERCAMURCIA at the meeting this morning has been informed of the progress of the activities of the Food Unit.

During the first half of 2010 is to highlight the 13% increase in the activity of the slaughterhouse on the same period of 2009.

Also in the Fruit Market is an increase of 2, 45% and a slight decrease from 1.18% in fish.

Have accepted the requests of implementation of two new wholesale fish market and the meat of two businessmen for expansion of existing facilities attached to Slaughterhouse.

The investment from these new facilities will amount to 600,000 €.
