The Department of Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, who heads Beatriz Hontoria, update the Territorial Plan of Civil Protection of the municipality of Murcia with the goal of adding new housing developments, shopping centers and places of the town result of urban development.
The Board of Governors approved the provisional award of this project, amounting to 30,000 euros.
The Civil Protection Plan includes forecasts of organo-functional framework and mechanisms to mobilize human and material resources necessary for the protection of persons and property in case of collective risk, disaster, public calamity, as well as patterns of coordination between different administrations.
The scope of the plan is the city of Murcia and objectives are to identify risk and vulnerable elements of its territory, to define preventive measures to avoid or mitigate identified risks, study and plan the necessary equipment to mobilize means and resources to intervene emergency and establishing coordinating all public and private services involved in emergencies.
