The Regional Housing Plan provides for grants of up to 25 percent of the budget away from rehabilitation to community ownership, which can involve up to 2,100 euros for each property owner
The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, Murcia visited today in a comprehensive rehabilitation works of buildings housing the Regional Plan being promoted in the regional territory through the line of subsidies provided to community ownership.
Navarro said that "there are many neighboring communities that are eligible for such aid in order to improve the energy efficiency of their buildings, adapted for people with reduced mobility or strengthening structural elements themselves."
In the Regional Portal, www.regiondemurciavivienda.es can find information about the requirements for applying for these grants and application forms, which can be dealt with collectively by the homeowners association, or individually, to seek aid depending on the specific characteristics of each applicant.
The aid provided for the rehabilitation of public spaces can be added for packaging of the habitual residence of the owners, which can cover up to 70 percent of the total cost of the works, with a maximum of 6,000 and 9,000 euros per household.

The director general stressed that "rehabilitation is a regional government commitment to sustainable development based on reduced consumption of land and resources, which have increased tenfold aid the Regional Housing Plan granted to Murcia in these grants. "
Navarro noted that the rehabilitation of buildings and individual houses "can generate many jobs and boost the regional economy, another factor considered by the regional government in designing the Regional Housing Plan.
