Caja Madrid will put at the service of the City of Murcia socio-medical vehicle that will make the movement of people receiving various care programs promoted by the Social Welfare area.
The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, and Business Center Director of Caja Madrid in Murcia, Juan Luis Vidal, have signed a collaboration agreement that will enable the purchase of this vehicle, a Citroen Berlingo, thanks to the contribution of almost 34,000 euros by the savings bank.
The ceremony was also attended by the municipal charge of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, Area Director of Caja Madrid in Murcia, Fernando Padrón, and the Coordinator of Caja Madrid, José Blanca.
The direct beneficiaries will be about 300 people currently incorporated into the Accompaniment Program for Social Inclusion and Care Program for Families in Special Situations, with whom he conducted performances of support, care and intensive social support.
Also provide service to users of Day Care Centers Hall and care programs for the elderly and disabled.
The new vehicle will provide transportation and movement of people benefiting both health centers and substance abuse care, as the various resources of the municipality.
