The 32 detainees in this second phase are a second step in the organization, which was implemented in Murcia, Lorca and Mazarrón.
Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia belonging to the Provincial Information Brigade have carried out a second phase of Operation Shadow has led to the arrest of 32 people related to the emerging structure of the organization in the Region Net Murcia.
These new arrests were carried out after the arrest late last June, thirteen members of the organization in positions of responsibility and coordination.
The detainees now held a position within the hierarchical structure of the band and were engaged to carry out instructions, and slogans emanating from those responsible for it, and the maintenance of internal order and security of the group.
The age of those arrested are between 16 and 27 years.
They are all but three of Ecuadorian nationality, nationalities Bolivia, Dominican and Colombian, respectively.
With these 32 new arrests, it reaches the number of 45 detainees in the whole Operation Shadow, making it one of the most important level in the net against the organization.
The aim of this initiative is to prevent the settlement of structures related to gangs and violent of its kind in the region, which is a strategic priority for the Police Headquarters of Murcia.
This operation has been coordinated and directed by the Court of Instruction Number Eight of Murcia, which teaches pre-trial proceedings in relation to these facts.
