The Councillor for Education and Youth, Lola Sanchez, has been charged this weekend to open the festivities in the neighborhood of Santiago El Mayor with the reading of his proclamation and coronation of the queens of the holidays 2010.
In his opening speech said that the neighborhood has seen many advances in recent years which has enabled residents to improve their quality of life and have quality infrastructure.
In this sense, Lola Sanchez said the new sports facilities are a good example; to what the new library will enjoy a new cultural space.

The council also announced that James the Great will have nine 'leisure gardens', a project to use solar disused for neighbors to grow their own vegetables and younger learn the traditions of the garden.
