Bringing knowledge of psychiatric disorders on college students and mental health professionals is the main objective of the course of the International University of the Sea "Psychiatry in everyday life."
For this, a group of psychiatrists will address issues such as depression, suicide, dementia, anxiety attacks, substance abuse or behavioral disorders.
The course will be closed by Luis Rojas Marcos, professor of psychiatry at the University of New York, who will speak about schizophrenia in the family.
The activity is aimed at students and professionals in medicine, psychology and nursing.
The course will be held in the town of Molina de Segura between 14 and 16 July, is led by Francisco Toledo Romero, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine of Murcia, has a duration of 20 hours.
Those who enroll will be entitled to two free credits.
