The Municipal Socialist Group considers insufficient the investment plan that the Municipal Water Company (Emuasa) has presented today in its board of directors because the supply and sanitation network is obsolete and constant repairs are necessary, as explained by Councilman Enrique Ayuso.
In addition, explains that it seems appropriate that the investment plan contemplates two years, 2018 and 2019, because "the rhythms so slow hiring do not give material time to award and execute the works, although remember that we have been almost half of 2018 consumed "
Ayuso warns that "we are going to support this plan because it is necessary, but that does not mean that we do not stop demanding Emuasa, especially since we have many very justified requests from many districts that demand important works".
In this regard, he specifies that the plan, endowed with 12 million euros, "contemplates necessary works, but we are going to ask that the game be extended, for several reasons, first because Emuasa has money, we only have to remember the 10 million euros of benefit of the Municipal Water Company, but also because there are many needs in our network, which is already old, I put more resources or we will devote ourselves to repairs and breakages ".
Finally, the councilor points out that "since we Murcia pay the most expensive water in Spain, we should have impeccable facilities."
