The Plenary of the Town Hall of Murcia has unanimously approved the motion of Cambiemos Murcia so that the City Council, in collaboration with associations and feminist groups, install in the parties and municipal events safe spaces to which women can go to report any type of aggression sexual or ask for help in the face of abuse or discrimination, better known as violet points.

The councilor Margarita Guerrero who has defended this motion, raised by the sectoral group of Women, Feminisms and Equality of municipal training, has reported that municipalities of many other municipalities in the country have launched violet points in the celebration of their celebrations.

This is the case of Cartagena, during the celebrations of Carthaginians and Romans last year, Madrid or Malaga.

The proposal of the mayor Nacho Tornel has also gone ahead so that the Consistory can negotiate with the Autonomous Community and the concessionary company LAT an increase in frequencies in the peak hours of the bus line 39B, which covers the route between the El Infante neighborhood and the university campus of Espinardo, in order to facilitate the possibility of transshipment between this line and those that come from the Costera Sur.

Likewise, the motion of Councilman Sergio Ramos has been given the green light in which the Government team is urged that the hiring of the new Casillas library be done simultaneously with the transfer of the canine recreation area of ​​the hamlet, in whose construction was invested at least 15,000 euros, and to prioritize as the first phase of the work to enable the new park in its new location.

The implementation of the reform of the Housing Law approved in the regional Assembly to ensure the rehousing of people at risk of residential exclusion and the implementation of measures to combat energy poverty, and the recognition of the figure of the historic union Marcelino Camacho on the centenary of his birth have also been approved, the latter unanimously.

Regarding the other motion of Tornel, referring to the rejection of the budget cut in the Universal Postal Service, which will mean a reduction in the number of Post Office staff and the worsening of the service, especially in the most rural areas, has been rejected by the Plenary.

Joint motions

Of the four joint motions in which Cambiemos Murcia has participated, three have been approved, those relating to the adhesion of the municipality of Murcia to the manifesto and decalogue "By bike for health and against climate change", of all groups;

to the day of the lesbian visibility, celebrated today and presented by PSOE, Now Murcia and Cambiemos Murcia, and to the fulfillment of the budget reflected in the State Pact against Gender Violence.

The one formulated by Cambiemos Murcia and Ahora Murcia on the Pan-European Single Pension Product (PEPP) has been rejected.
