'Unfortunately, the ethical standards and the moral requirement are not at the same level in other parties, which now must apologize'
The spokeswoman of the PP emphasizes that her attitude was exemplary then, but that integrity and honesty acquire now, if possible, a greater dimension "
The Office of the Prosecutor has filed the complaint filed by the councilors of the PSOE against the former PP councilor, Roque Ortiz, who resigned after filtering a record of an internal meeting held outside the City Council.
The Superior Prosecutor of the Autonomous Community has notified the resolution agreed in the investigative proceedings initiated following the PSOE's complaint for an alleged crime of prevarication, proceeding to its filing because it considers that the facts object of the complaint 'are not constitutive of any crime. '
Against this resolution, in addition, there is no recourse.
In this way, the statements made by Ortiz when he submitted his resignation are corroborated despite not being charged or investigated in any judicial instance, neither administrative nor criminal.
The Popular Party, in general, and Roque Ortiz, in particular, demonstrate that they know how to live up to the circumstances and respond to the demands demanded by neighbors, but the facts confirm that "the ethical standard and the moral requirement is not equal in both, "said Rebeca Perez, who this morning has demanded opposition groups to apologize.
In January, five of the six Socialist councilors -Susana Hernandez, Enrique Ayuso, Begoña García Retegui, Juan Vicente Larrosa and Maite Espinosa- staged a show before the court doors to present a demand that, as has been proven, did not have any justification, except, perhaps, his excessive desire to monopolize media attention.
For that reason, now, three months later, the spokeswoman of the PP demands that they organize 'a similar feast but, in this case, to recognize its error and to request public apologies to Roque Ortiz and the Popular Party'.
'The posture has gotten out of hand.
They accused if any base with the sole objective of doing harm, and right now must retract before Murcia, because it can not and should not go free, "says Rebeca Perez, who adds that in Popular Party 'never had an iota of doubt about to come from our partner in the Government Team until three months ago, and the exemplariness and generosity that showed now acquire, if possible, a greater dimension.
He recalled that Roque Ortiz left the City Council 'only and exclusively to not jeopardize the city project we have promoted', insisting that Ortiz left the City Hall with a very high head, after having launched the strategic transformation projects from the city.
"And he did so by appealing to the much-demanded democratic regeneration that, when the time comes, there are parties that do not apply to themselves," the spokesperson explains.
'Other parties can not say the same.
If something stands out is for their attempt to judicialize the policy whenever they find a loophole, seeking in court the support they do not get from the neighbors, "adds Perez, who has invited opposition groups to 'reflect and start apply your own recipe. '
