The mayor Pilar Muñoz will defend this motion in the plenary session on Thursday to offer training on basic techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, informative talks on the subject and to equip schools with a defibrillator
The mayor of the orange formation Pilar Muñoz will defend an initiative in the plenary of Thursday demanding the local government to carry out a study for the creation in all the educational centers of the municipality of Murcia of cardioprotected areas in a gradual manner and that will be provided of a defibrillator.
Likewise, Muñoz will ask that a plan of basic training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques of two hours a year be placed at the disposal of the educational centers, as proposed in the European declaration 'Kids Save Lives', aimed at students between 10 and 18 years, in coordination and collaboration of the different school centers.
Another of the proposals that the mayor of Citizens will raise in the Plenary refers to the teaching, in collaboration with the Association of Relatives and Affected by Cardiopathies and Sudden Death of the Region of Murcia, informative talks addressed to schools and AMPAS on cardiac arrest, sudden death and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Finally, Muñoz will urge the local government to also initiate the procedures to implement the nursing program in the educational centers of Murcia in the terms approved in the motion presented by Citizens in the regional Assembly and taking into account the item included in the regional budgets of this year.
