On Monday, April 23, the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the University of Murcia organizes a 'booktube' dedicated to the book "The Nutcracker" by Theodor Amadeus Hoffman.
It will be at the Public School "Santiago García Medel" of the High Age.
This act is carried out with the collaboration of the management team and teachers of the school and the City of Murcia, and starts the week of parties of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the UMU.
A 'booktube' is the recording of different videos in which people, of different ages, comment, review or criticize a book (the term is the fusion of "book" in English and "youtube").
These videos have been prepared by the student of the Master in Mobile Communication and Digital Communication, Débora Benzal Caracena and all the activity of the Day of the Book has been designed by Professor Rosana López Carreño (Vice Dean of Documentation).
The videos can already be seen at https://www.murciaeduca.es/cpsantiagogarciamedel/sitio/index.cgi?wid_seccion=27&wid_item=277 and all the work has been called Era Tube.
The act begins at 10 am with the presentation of the same by Mayor José Ballesta and Rector José Luján, along with the Director of the school, José Francisco Pérez Rodríguez, Mayor of the Municipal Board of Era Alta and Pedriñanes, and Immaculate José Martínez Martínez Dean in functions of the Faculty of Communication and Documentation of the University of Murcia.
Subsequently a series of performances will be made: "Vals de las flores" by Tchaikovsky, represented by students from 3 to 5 years of Early Childhood Education;
"Puppets" with music by Tchaikovsky, represented by the students of the first year of Primary Education;
"Dancing of the nutcracker", with music by Tchaikovsky, represented by the students of the second year of Primary Education.
Then there will be a public reading of some passages of the book "The Nutcracker".
