José Antonio Cascales Saseta has taken office this Friday as manager of the University of Murcia in an event that took place in the Rectors Gallery of the institution, in the Convalecencia, seat of the rectorship.

His promise of office has come after the Social Council of the University has accepted the proposal of his appointment made by the rector, José Luján Alcaraz.

Cascales Saseta has confirmed during his speech his commitment to the University and has made clear his intention and that of the entire government team to work guided by "the values ​​of equity, transparency, informed decision and value to work well done".

The new manager has been convinced that "giving the best of ourselves is how we will get the University to be better".

The rector of the University of Murcia thanked during his speech to the Social Council that has accepted the proposal Cascales and explained that, in addition to the professional merits, the new manager has as one of its main values ​​his "deep knowledge of the University , a very clear idea of ​​what the institution has to be and its vocation of service ".
