The councilman and deputy of Citizens, Mario Gómez, and Juan José Molina, respectively, accuse the PP of acting with improvisation when it comes to planning and programming the WAM festival that changes its name again in less than two years.
"In Ciudadanos", the leaders of the orange training have highlighted, "we are willing to recover the image and quality of one of the relevant festivals of the Spanish calendar.
A festival that, unfortunately, the regional government is losing, first the name, and now it is on the way to ending the event itself. "
In this sense, they have warned the PP that "with tourism you should not play or you can improvise, on the contrary, it is necessary to program and plan, abandon improvisation and draw a strategy in the medium / long term."
For the mayor and deputy of the orange formation is clearer than water.
"If we really want to bet on this Festival you can not be changing your name every year, with irresponsible excuses that try to hide reality."
According to both leaders, the lack of political direction floods every corner of the PP in the Region of Murcia.
"Despite having had a year to study and design the new approach of the Festival, after the hard knock suffered last year, they have not been able to solve the conflict with the suspension of SOS 4.8;
and now we find the problems generated at that time and not solved. "
From Ciudadanos "we consider it necessary that the parties feel and try to reach an agreement to try to save this musical event."
Thus, the deputy Juan José Molina will register a battery of questions in the regional Assembly "to clarify the situation that has led the regional government to change the name of this event in such a short time, suddenly and without evaluating the consequences."
