The University of Murcia celebrates until Saturday the international congress 'Public Baths of Hispania' that brings together some of the most prominent experts in the study of urban public thermal complexes.
The congress was inaugurated in the Archaeological Museum of Murcia in an act that has been chaired by the rector, José Luján.
The Congress aims to update, discuss together and then publish all the information available today on the urban public hot springs of the Hispanic provinces, important for the dissemination of habits and lifestyles inherent in the Roman world.
Throughout the sessions, the main advances in the research of these spaces of the last two decades will be shared.
The presentation of relevant and topical cases, under the format of posters will allow to present, discuss and publish a large amount of information currently scattered.
The participants in the congress come from a total of four European countries.
