The mayor of Cs Paqui Pérez has taken advantage of the celebration of World Bike Day and the local government has not organized a single activity to ask José Ballesta to become aware of the importance of policies on sustainable urban mobility for the future of the citizens.
"Murcia needs a radical change of direction," said Pérez, who has once again lamented "the lack of courage and rigor that both Ballesta and his team have shown when planning and tackling sustainable mobility in the municipality."
"There is nothing new under the sun, beyond what we sadly know as the 'underutilized' lane of the rounds that", as the Orange mayor recalled, "has generated much unrest and we still do not know what the local government plans to do after having invested almost half a million euros in a fudge ".
"We continue to hear from Ballesta and his councilors the same occurrences year after year, press conference after press conference, without any of the bike lanes to connect the city, announced by the PP, is materialized," he said.

"At this point," he concluded, "it is obvious that the commitment to future generations in terms of mobility is a subject that José Ballesta and his team have suspended and will no longer be able to approve."
