The Councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, attended this morning to the opening of the 'Easy Reading Course', which gives full inclusion to technicians of the City of Murcia for the preparation of texts and documents in easy reading format.
It is a practical theoretical course, included in the municipal training plan, which is held for the second time, aimed at professionals in the area of ​​Social Services, who have joined other areas to complete the quota of attendees.
Tomorrow will continue from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
"Easy reading is a method of adapting and writing materials to make information and culture accessible to people with reading comprehension difficulties, taking into account its different aspects, something fundamental to ensure the accessibility of all people to information. municipal ", explained the councilor.
It should be noted that last year the Department made, with full inclusion, the adaptation to Easy Reading of the Ordinance of financial aid for the attention of social needs as well as basic information on the services that the Department of Social Rights offers, how to access them or the contact ways.
A work that will be expanded with the translation of other documents and essential texts for information and knowledge of social services by the general population.
