The Program "Networks for free time" of the Department of Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, has launched this morning its new corporate image and extensive programming free leisure activities and weekend time for young people of 12 to 30 years.
The new program, presented by councilor Rebeca Pérez, begins next Friday, April 20 and ends on Saturday, June 23, with workshops held for 10 weekends.
A calendar of activities accompanied by a more youthful and close image marked by the idea of ​​speaking for and for young people.
The places in all the workshops will be awarded in order of registration and to be able to participate, young people can make the reservation of their place through the web, www.redesmurcia.es or through the RedesMurcia APP, by filling in the registration form.
"The programming is characterized by its variety and attending to the requests and suggestions of young people, this quarter will be carried out activities that have had a great participation in previous programming, but also other new activities, many of them requested by the young people themselves ", Rebeca Pérez explained.
Between the novelties of this quarter it is possible to emphasize the accomplishment of activities outdoors like:
-Initiation to the climbing in the valley on Saturday 12 May.
- Descent of the Segura River in rafting (Cieza-Blanca) on Saturday May 26.
-Multiaventura nautical in La Manga: sailing, canoeing and windsurfing on Saturday 2 June.
- Workshops on "Creative sewing: textile creations", "Make-up" and "Scrapbooking".
In addition, the routes guided by the city continue to lead in terms of demand, so this quarter will be made following:
-Hebrews, Christians and Islamists in Medina Mursiya on Saturday May 5
-Influential women in the History of Murcia on Saturday May 19.
Another novelty is the realization of a night astronomical observation on Saturday May 19 in which participants will visualize the planet Venus to proceed later to the observation of the Moon.
New technologies are also present this quarter with the workshops "How to make an App in a Smart city like Murcia?"
and "Entrepreneurship through your PC".
This program includes cooking workshops that have been so successful in previous editions, adding the Smoothies workshop on Friday, April 27 and May 4, the Recipes with fruit on Friday, May 11 and 18, and that of semifred recipes on Friday, May 25 and June 1.
In addition, the performance of activities in the University Social Center, Campus of Espinardo, to facilitate the participation of university students in the activities to the maximum.
Specifically, activities of Bollywood and Oriental Dance have been programmed.
Programming in Centers
Young people will also be able to attend dance workshops such as Kpop and break dance this quarter, sports workshops: skate, scooter, skating, BMX, chess, personal defense, fencing, table tennis, jugger and frisbee.
One more edition of the Networks program continues betting on inclusive leisure, and therefore during this quarter the inclusive table tennis championships will take place in the Young space El Palmar on Saturday 19 May and the inclusive swimming championship at the Fuenteblanca School on Saturday 16 June.
Young people can also register activities such as film screenplay, magic, manga comics, literary creation, electric guitar, Spanish guitar, drawing and painting, radio.
More than 40 free leisure alternatives for young people during the weekends.
