The Hemicycle of Letters of the University of Murcia welcomes for the first time the 'Journal on transhumance and livestock trails in the Mediterranean', which will take place on Tuesday, April 17, from 18 to 21 hours.
The presentation of the act will be in charge of Cristina Guirao, coordinator of Culture, Debate and Thought and Antonio Contreras, professor of the Department of Animal Health of the UMU.
The event will begin with the screening of the documentary on the Segureño sheep. The constant journey of the director Joaquín Lisón.
Afterwards, various presentations will be given by experts in the field from various universities and, finally, will be closed with the debate 'Trashumancia and livestock paths: environmental, cultural, heritage and rural development.
At the end of the day, there will be an appetizer and tasting of segureño lamb.
