The Conservatory of Dance, in collaboration with the City of Murcia and the Autonomous Community, has prepared an extensive program of activities to commemorate the Day of Dance.

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, explained that "almost twenty activities have been organized with the aim of attracting the attention of the general public about the art and culture of dance, with special emphasis on the attraction of new audiences, as well as the fact that there are different genres within the program, thus uniting all the dances such as Spanish, flamenco, contemporary, classical ... "

The most outstanding event is the celebration of two galas in the Víctor Villegas Auditoriums: the 'Dance for Life' gala for the benefit of Asociación Cirugía Solidaria and the Duel'Ando Association, for support and accompaniment in situations of mourning and loss, which will be held next Thursday, April 19;

and the gala 'La danza con el corazón', for the benefit of the Asociación Corazón, on April 29th.

In addition, on Friday, April 27, Plaza Belluga will host a demonstration of contemporary, classical and Spanish dance by the students of the conservatory in the morning, at 11 am, and in the afternoon at 6 pm.

Also on the 14th, 15th and 16th of May will be celebrated, in the Circus Theater, galas of Spanish and flamenco dance, classical dance and contemporary dance respectively.
