This is the second time that the Swimming Federation of the Region of Murcia has organized this championship, where the Ciudad de Murcia-Los Olivos Swimming Club was proclaimed runner-up after a hard fight against the remaining participating teams.
Last Saturday, April 14, in the 25-meter indoor pool of Fuente Álamo, the Swimming Federation of the Region of Murcia organized the 2nd Open Swimming Masters Championship, this being the second time that this championship takes place within the Region of Murcia.
The Ciudad de Murcia-Los Olivos Swimming Club, with a total of 42 swimmers between the men's team and the women's team, got 2,210 points, and with them, we managed to go up to the 2nd place of the final classification by teams.
Teams from Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana, Andalucía and the Region of Murcia, gathered in Fuente Álamo, a city in the Region of Murcia that welcomed this regional championship with great enthusiasm.
Although there was much rivalry among the swimmers, it was undeniable the incredible atmosphere that was breathed.
Swimming unites passions and attracts many fans.
From here we thank all the participants, the Fuente Álamo Swimming Club as a collaborating club, and all our swimmers, families and friends for living together with us this new sports success as a club.
Without a doubt, next year we will try at least to go back to the podium of the winners.
