The Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, is carrying out the works of rehabilitation of green areas requested by the residents of the neighborhood of Infante Don Juan Manuel.
For this, and thanks to an agreement with the Employment and Training Service (SEF), the comprehensive reform works of the Teaching Plaza have just been completed.
"The objective has been to make a radical change to this area while meeting a basic principle for this City Council as is the creation of employment, which has allowed us to carry out a reform with a score of unemployed people," he explains. the mayor of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén.
Among the improvements that have been made in this square is the renovation of children's spaces with the placement of soil absorbs impacts as well as the installation of new games.
New curbs have also been placed, the pavement has been improved, new albero has been placed in different areas and different massifs have been created with plantations designed to achieve greater water savings.
But it is not the only reform that has been carried out in the Plaza de la Enseñanza, since these workers have transformed disused parterres into modern pieces of landscaping, with novel urban furniture and very attractive plant species.
"The accessibility to this and all the spaces of green areas is a constant in our daily work and especially when a reform of these characteristics is carried out in a neighborhood as Murcian as the Infante", emphasizes Guillén.
The works have been completed in the Plaza de España but continue within a great comprehensive reform of the area that includes spaces such as San Juan de la Cruz Avenue, the Doctor Manuel Serrano Street Garden or the Plaza de San Benito.
