José Antonio Serrano presented his candidacy this morning for the primary elections called by the PSRM for the election of General Secretary of the Municipal Association of Murcia.
For this he has chosen the emblematic Plaza de la Glorieta de España, seat of the City of Murcia.
In the act of presentation, Serrano has stood out among the reasons that take to him to take this step the wide support received from many companions and companions of the party, and has expressed his "illusion for contributing to improve the structure of the PSOE in the municipality of Murcia , with greater coordination among the councilors, mayors and mayors of neighborhoods and districts and the affiliation of the thirteen socialist groups of the municipality. "
He pointed out that "improving our organization, we will be in an excellent disposition to listen to the neighbors of the municipality, know their problems, proposals and demands, and thus offer the answers and solutions they need".
In his first statements as a candidate, he was accompanied by the mayors of Cabezo de Torres and Puente Tocinos, Francisco Viudes and Enrique Carrillo, the Secretary General of Murcia Suroeste, Pedro Antonio Ríos, members of the executive and militants of various socialist groups, such as Puertas de Castilla, Marjales, Murcia East, or Bacons Bridge, among others, as well as Socialist Youth.
Serrano has been convinced that the municipality of Murcia needs a change to improve the living conditions of many people.
Considers that Murcia must take its rightful place and become a benchmark for welfare, prosperity and transparency, and firmly believes that the PSOE is the most prepared party to achieve it.
He has expressed his commitment to promote participation, both the affiliates and supporters of the PSOE of Murcia, as social organizations, movements, citizen platforms and individuals at the individual level, because in his opinion "we socialists practice closeness to the conviction of that only by listening and being next to problems can we solve them ".
"I know this municipality and I fully trust in the capacity of my party to improve its functioning and be able to bring about the change that Murcia needs," he concluded.
