The Governing Board has approved at its weekly meeting held this morning the award of paving works with cobblestone streets Álamo and Abeto in Los Rectores, El Puntal.
Both roads are located on both sides of a nursery school and a garden, in the Los Rectores urbanization.
The garden and the school are separated by a cobbled street, so it is going to proceed to equalize these streets to the existing one, elevating the road to level of pavement and paving with cobblestone, maintaining the parkings and thus achieving a pedestrian circulation more safe and aesthetic and functional aspect more appropriate to the environment of the existing garden.
In addition, the sidewalks surrounding the garden will be renovated to adapt them to existing ones.
In the first place, the existing pavements will be demolished and the agglomerate pavement will be milled in those areas where the level does not rise, to then form a mass concrete base with a mesh and place prefabricated paving slab.
The works have a budget of 54,263 euros and have been awarded in favor of the commercial Geycon 07, SL

For this reason, new sidewalks will be built and existing ones will be expanded, thus achieving a safer pedestrian circulation.
In addition, the senses of these streets are reorganized, going from double circulation to a single direction.
First, the agglomerate will be cut and the existing curbs and curbs will be demolished and then a curb of the prefabricated concrete curb will be executed to delimit the sidewalk of the existing road.
Finally, the paving of the sidewalk formed by a mass concrete base will be made to proceed to place the colored prefabricated paving slab.
