José Luis de Vicente, curator and art critic specializing in new media, will offer a lecture entitled "Art, imagination and temporal scales in the Anthropocene" at the Faculty of Fine Arts, at 6:00 p.m.

De Vicente is the curator of `Sónar + D`, the innovation area of ​​the Sónar festival in Barcelona and is a member of the` FutureEverything Festival` team in Manchester.

He has directed the program `Visualizar` of Medialab Prado, and curated multiple exhibitions.

You can currently visit his latest exhibition,'After the End of the World', at the Contemporary Culture Center of Barcelona.

After the conference there will be a brief presentation of the research project `Reset> Mar Menor.

Laboratory of imaginaries for a landscape in crisis, in which a group of UMU artists and researchers propose to use the capacity of contemporary art as a vehicle to imagine the Mar Menor collectively.
