The Councilor for the Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, attended the 7th edition of the Smart Energy Congress that was held in Madrid and has been organized by EnerTIC.
The Secretary General of Energy, Daniel Navía, and Ignacio Sánchez, deputy director of Smart Cities and Data of Red.es, participated in the conference.
The Smart Energy Congress is the annual European congress in which reference consultants, energy companies, leaders in the technology industry, responsible for large projects, etc.
They share their vision and debate about trends, challenges and opportunities to improve Energy Efficiency in areas such as Cities (SmartCities), Industries (Industry 4.0) or Data Centers (SmartDataCenters).
In addition, the council has seized the day to meet with Silvia López Belmar, executive of Large Accounts of Public Administrations of Telefónica Spain;
with Javier Pascual, responsible for Indra solutions;
and with Héctor Pinar Fernández, partner of Utilities de Everis, to continue working on turning Murcia into an intelligent city and to develop the MiMurcia project.
We must remember that EnerTIC, a benchmark for all those interested in energy competitiveness with the use of ICT and organizer of the congress, distinguished the City of Murcia with the enerTIC Award for Innovation and Technology for energy efficiency in the Digital Era, in Smart eGoverment category.
The candidacy of the capital of the Region in the category for the best Intelligent Government project ('MiMurcia: Your Smart, Close, Open and Innovative City Council') competed along with the proposals presented by the Andalusian Regional Government (Smart Region-Fiware Zone) and the Ministry of Justice (Digital Justice).
