Among the activities scheduled for the second edition of the Festival of History, on Thursday, April 12, the conference entitled 'New things in the prehistory of Cieza: the Cañón de Almadenes and the Cueva del Arco' will be given by the directors of a research project that takes place in the area since the fire ravaged the site in 2015. The talk will take place at 20:30 hours in Room B of the Capitol Theater in Cieza.
During the presentation will be presented the results of these field works, funded by the City of Cieza and the General Directorate of the Natural Environment, including new data from the excavations in the Cueva del Arco and the Cañón de Almadenes.

LaFiesta de la Historia is an initiative from the University of Bologna that, for two years, has been carried out in the Region of Murcia under the coordination of Raquel Sánchez, professor of the Faculty of Education;
María Martínez, professor of the Faculty of Letters and Jerónimo Rueda.
This year, in addition, has the collaboration of the City of Cieza and the permanent headquarters of university extension of Cieza.
