Let's change Murcia today voted against the accounts submitted by Urbamusa for 2017. The reason, explained Councilman Sergio Ramos, is that you can not support some accounts that have not gone before due to the audit work of the Municipal Intervention and, therefore, "we can not verify if they conform to reality".
The mayor has added that the fact of not having been submitted to intervention may even be cause for nullity under current regulatory law, something that the mayor has advised the other counselors.
The municipal training, which has not signed the accounts, has demanded Urbamusa to ask the City Council to put the necessary means for the audit task.
The company dedicates more than 80 percent of its activity to actions contracted by the City Council, which makes even more necessary a public control that does not exist.
Ramos has pointed out that this deficit of transparency can be observed for example in the management commissions, as is the case of "the projects of the extraordinary investment plan in districts do not appear in the budget, so we can not know how much it will cost the writing of these to the City Council ".
