The councilors of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development and Social Rights and Development Cooperation, José Guillén and Conchita Ruiz, visited this morning the workshops of the Plaza Circular that are being held on the occasion of the Spring Festival, in addition to the Glorieta de España, in Santo Domingo (Calle Basabé), or the Artillery Barracks show.
In total, and during the days that these workshops, promoted by the Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development have been open, have passed more than 8,000 children who have enjoyed the crafts, gastronomy, games and traditional dances.
Highlights the activities 'Plant your spring garden', 'Showcooking of paparajotes', 'Learn regional dances', 'Murcia in miniature: Handicrafts', 'Showcooking of desserts huertanos', 'Show of birds of prey', 'Learning to weave' and 'Artesana huertana'.
To do this, we have had the collaboration, in some of them, of the Abraham Project association, which thanks to the work with recycled materials, strives to reintegrate people at risk of social exclusion into society and has carried out workshops to create ornaments, decoration objects or birlochas.
The 'Garden of the Giants'
In addition, the Silk Garden, the Salitre and the Rocío have 30 attractions distributed in 55,000 square meters, under the name 'The Garden of the Giants'.
It will be open until next Sunday from 11 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 9 pm.
Also, the Artillery Barracks offers the Drilo Zone, with inflatables, workshops and free access animation until Sunday, from 11 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm.
