In this way "is responded to the request of the Association for the Care of people with Autism and other widespread disorders of the Region of Murcia that promote an awareness campaign to raise awareness of this disorder to society and attract attention about the needs of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, "said Rebeca Pérez.
An act of support to which also joins the Department of Sports and Health, directed by Felipe Coello, who has highlighted "the importance of making visible the situation of autistic people and their families and breaking the barriers that exist to achieve a fully accessible society "
It must be remembered that every year, dozens of buildings around the world are illuminated in blue as a sign of solidarity with the group of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
It was December 18, 2007 when the United Nations General Assembly established on April 2 as the World Day of Autism Awareness, urging Member States, competent organizations of the United Nations system and other international organizations, as well as civil society to properly observe this day and take measures to raise awareness through society about children with autism.
