The councilman of Urbanism, Environment, Water and Kitchen garden, Antonio Navarro, has invited the PSOE to know the Plan of Protection of the Kitchen garden approved by the City council, that constitutes "~the most ambitious project, rigorous and with greater draft approved by the City Council to recover and protect our garden from all points of view, with special attention to its environmental value "â„¢.
Within this plan are the Murcia River projects, which are preferably directed to actions in the Segura urban area, and which has just received the recognition of a strategic project by the Congress's Committee on Agriculture, Food and Environment.
In this sense, cyclists and athletes use the built bike lane on a daily basis, while Murcia have welcomed the new channel lighting.
In addition, the construction of the garden of the Four Stones and the Alameda del Malecón is under construction, and in Contracting the Riverwalk.
All this assigned to the Murcia River project.
"~But our Huerta plan is more ambitious and calls attention to the ignorance of the socialist councilors", explained Navarro, who recalled other environmental actions that are taking place in the area of ​​Segura, including the recovery of meanders, which takes carried out with the collaboration of the UMU and environmental associations.
Likewise, the recuperation of the heritage of typical constructions of La Huerta, such as the "Molinos del Amor" and "Batán", and the work of reforestation of the native species and recovery of the hydraulic system of the Contraparada (both beyond the urban section).
Regarding the cleaning of the river dots, Navarro urges the PSOE to let the Confederación Hidrográfica del Segura work, which has made clear its involvement in the care of the riverbed.
