The University of Murcia has joined the '30 days by bike 'campaign in which 17 other Spanish universities participate.
The challenge posed by the initiative, which must be overcome by the participants, is to travel 30 kilometers by bicycle before April 30.
To add kilometers by bicycle, the university students must register with their email account of the University of Murcia on the website www.reto30diasenbici.com, download the Ciclogreen application on their mobile and carry out all the bicycle trips they can.
Students, professors, administration and service personnel can participate in the challenge.
The system will allow you to accumulate the kilometers traveled and enter the raffle of more than twenty prizes among which stand out: pack wonderbox for two people, bicycle, 4K sports camera, mobile speakers, tickets to the Gijón Sound Festival, Netflix gift card and Amazon, equipment for bicycles and cyclists, etc.
At the end of the '30 days by bike 'challenge, in which companies and universities participate, it will be known in which centers more kilometers have been achieved and a classification will be published.
UMU also includes universities such as Malaga, Granada, León, Zaragoza and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​among others.
For users who already participate in the challenges that the UMU launches monthly, they will only have to join the new challenge of the '30 days by bike '.
The winner of the V Challenge Move for the UMU of the month of March is Susana Z. The University has already launched the Sixth Challenge, this time the prize is a gift card Decathlon of 50 euros.
In addition, there are direct rewards such as breakfasts in university cafeterias, shirts or organic plants.
With this initiative, Campus Sostenible aims to promote healthy and environmentally responsible habits at the University of Murcia with the promotion of pollution-free means of transport.
