The Government Board today approved the start of the procedure to organize summer camps by the Department of Education.
To this end, it has given its approval to the specifications of particular administrative clauses and technical prescriptions for the hiring, through an open procedure, of the "Leisure and free time activities service in summer 2018, for schoolchildren of the Municipality of Murcia".
As explained by Councilman Rafael Gómez, will allocate a maximum budget of 175,010 euros for the celebration of these camps, which may participate school students from third to sixth grade of primary education, who are enrolled in centers of the municipality of Murcia .
"This amount includes accommodation on a full-board basis for seven days and six nights in natural environments, materials and sufficient resources for the development of the different activities and the service and coordination of monitors," Gómez detailed.
The contract is divided into four lots, which will be carried out from July 2 to July 29, 2018, in periods of 7 days (6 nights).
The Multi-Adventure Camp in English, Camp Nautical Sports and Mountain Camp and Multiaventura are distributed in the Nature and Environment Camp.
The number of places corresponds to 500 students, distributed in 50 places per shift, since there will be several dates for each of them.
This project aims to promote a healthy leisure by providing resources and teaching children how to occupy their free time in a constructive way, promote coexistence between children through play and recreational activities, with the aim of helping them in their social and social growth, and foster in the youngest habits of coexistence, respect, solidarity, sensitivity, participation and communication.
