Next Thursday, April 5, and for the seventh consecutive year, the San Antón Hardware Store, located on Calle Las Norias, number 5, will celebrate its traditional Fiesta de los Buñuelos, whose poster has been prepared in this edition by Álvaro Peña

The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, Jesús Pacheco, has highlighted "the tremendous generosity of the architect of this day, which every year has more welcome, Ginés Monserrate, a man attached to traditions and neighborhood associations, which shows off his Murcia from his San Antón hardware shop ".

For its part, the Councilor for Trade and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrín, stressed that "actions like this, in addition to enhance our holidays, serve to remember that we have to support small businesses because they are the ones who give life to our neighborhoods" .

From 10 am, you can taste fritters and chocolate for free.

In addition, the showcase of the hardware store will become a tribute to the garden, which will show, among other elements, a ferris wheel on the bed of a ditch, the full-size facade of a house in Murcia, which includes all kinds of utensils, farming implements, utensils ... and even an improvised mechanical workshop, with an old moto guzzi, ready for use, with all its original parts.

A space in tribute to the Burial of the Sardine will also be reserved, with a faithful representation of the articulated dragon of Conte, together with a small sample of sardiner toys, with which the sardineros gave the Murcians in the past.

Both windows have been made in collaboration with artisan Jesús Navarro.

During the day there will be various activities such as the performance of the Choir and Dance Group of the Peña La Azaranda, the lighting of a firework by the Queen of La Huerta and Doña Sardina 2018, and a parade with batucada through the streets of the neighborhood.
