The Councilor for Trade and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrín, has presented this morning the new campaign of the Supply Federation of Murcia.

Under the slogan "We are for you", the representatives of the merchants that carry out their activity in these enclaves, have highlighted that "the neighbors that come to these points to make their purchases, will find more products, fresher, of more quality, more trust, closer and with a personalized treatment ".

Thus, it has been announced that the creation of a new web page is underway to collect the situation of the Plazas of the municipality, where you can find each of the associated shops, the contact number and the products sold there .

To this is added the possibility of including the delivery at home to offer new opportunities to customers.

To publicize these improvements a communication campaign has been designed, whose maximum diffusion will be given during the Spring Festival with the delivery of 20,000 brochures throughout the municipality.

"We must recognize the effort and dedication that the members of the Federation of Supply Plazas in our municipality are doing to boost sales, improve customer service, and the quality of their products, a work that the City Council complements with the development of these trade centers, improving their facilities and offering the best service to consumers, "said Maruja Pelegrín

Currently, the municipality of Murcia has eight Supply Plazas located in San Andrés, Vistabella, El Carmen, Verónicas, Saavedra Fajardo, Espinardo, La Alberca and Cabezo de Torres.

In addition, the Councilor for Trade, Maruja Pelegrín, took the opportunity to take stock of the steps that in these three years of the legislature have been given by Commerce to convert the Plazas into points of reference, modernizing their facilities, facilitating accessibility and improving the situation of the merchants.

In application of the Plan for Modernization of Municipal Supply Plazas, prepared in consensus with the Associations of Merchants of Municipal Supplies, "which has been developed by the Department of Commerce, Organization and Institutional Relations, various actions have been carried out based on three axes, including various investment actions in these municipal buildings.

In a first stage, works were carried out in relation to accessibility in the Supply Plazas of Saavedra Fajardo and El Carmen, as well as the replacement of escalators in the Plaza de Abastos de Verónicas.

Currently, improvements are being made related to aesthetics and energy efficiency in Verónicas (air conditioning), Vistabella (renovation of sidewalks, facades and roofs) and San Andrés (façade and central roof).

Also currently are awarded and pending implementation of the renovation of air conditioning of the Plaza de Abastos de Vistabella, as well as the completion of the project for the Renovation of Facade and Improvement of Lighting of the Plaza de Abastos de Cabezo de Torres , and the preparation of the Project of Integral Conditioning of Facade, Interior and Exterior Lighting, Dome and accessibility of the Plaza de Abastos de Verónicas.
