The Minister of Finance and Public Administration, Andrés Carrillo, participated today in the opening ceremony of the 50th anniversary of IES Floridablanca of Murcia with a conference on the challenges of the regional economy.
Carrillo transferred the "importance" of the economy to the students of the center and wished them that the session "will serve you to have a vision on the situation of the economy, in particular on the regional one, and of their companies, and on how to work from the Administration to improve the quality of life of citizens ".
In that sense, he indicated that "the regional economy is currently in a clearly expansive cycle, with 12 consecutive quarters growing above 3 percent, and an estimate for 2017 of 3.7 percent.
This supposes a sustained and robust growth, something that just three years ago we did not even glimpse ".
Carrillo recalled that he was also a student of BUP and COU of IES Floridablanca between 1979 and 1983 and what happened in this center "some of the best years of his life".
"You must take advantage of these important and intense courses and learn as much as possible during your stay here and later, at the University or in other types of centers, because training is the most important thing for a person's future".
