The Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs has approved the call for tenders for the selection of entrepreneurs interested in being awarded the services offered in the Center for Municipal Initiatives, Alquerías Resource Center and other municipal facilities that are compatible .
The main novelty is that the Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs will create a waiting list in new spaces in other municipal facilities, in addition to the CIM-M and the Alquerías Resource Center, that can be incorporated in the short term and that allow to house workshops and have storage space, something that has been requested by the companies that are housed in the CIM-M.
The last call was resolved by agreement of the Governing Board on May 12, 2017 and it approved the waiting list of shipments with a validity of one year.
At the end of this period, it is necessary to make a new call to award the positions that are free and also form a new waiting list of candidates interested in being housed in municipal facilities.
Thus, in the Center for Municipal Initiatives, 4 offices will be free in the first semester of this year, one in the second semester and 4 in the first semester of 2019.
The working modules in the morning shift are fully occupied and in the afternoon shift there are 8 available, in addition to 10 workstation posts-Coworking.
In the Alquerías Resource Center, three offices are offered (initially in the morning).
The Department will constitute a Qualifying Court of the requests formulated so that for the same one the requests for their authorization will be scored that will be constituted by the councilor of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs, the Head of Service of Economic Promotion and Company and representatives of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs, of the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs, of the Business University Foundation, of the College of Economists and of the Chair of Entrepreneurs of the University of Murcia.
The deadline to participate in this call will end on April 20 and applicants will have to meet the following requirements:
- That it develops or will develop its entrepreneurial activity in the Municipality of Murcia.
- That it be registered in the Activities Census of taxpayers or be registered, where appropriate, at the time of obtaining the authorization regulated in these rules, when it is about Entrepreneurs who have already started their activity.
- The Company must be an SME (Occupy less than 10 people) and its capital may not be more than 25% participated by a company that is not an SME.
- Companies or freelancers must be aware of their tax obligations and social security.
- You must take out liability insurance
- Have justified the municipal subsidies that have been previously awarded.
- You must submit a Business Plan that is reported as viable by the Department of the City of Murcia.
In addition, preference will be given to those companies whose activity is innovative, that generate more and better jobs, related to the environment and culture, that contemplate social responsibility initiatives and that have greater viability of the entrepreneur project.
