The Department of Social Rights and Development Cooperation, directed by Conchita Ruiz, allocates a budget of 6,463 euros for the project of socio-labor inclusion through the educational and professional training of women in the marginal areas of San Fernando de la Mora , In Paraguay.
The objective of this program, developed by the Fade Foundation in collaboration with the Association for the Development of Education, Excellence and Work, as a local counterpart, is to improve the level of upper secondary education and professional training among women of this zone.
The total number of beneficiaries amounts to 300, from low-income families, highlighting among the activities that are being carried out, the following:
- Preparation and execution of a marketing plan and dissemination of educational services available, and planning and execution of 2 fairs of food products prepared by the students.
- Redesign and approval of the new study plan for the Bachelor of Social Sciences with orientation in Gastronomy and Administration, as well as 2 courses and workshops for professional training and entrepreneurship for the young beneficiaries.
- Planning of the activities to be developed in the 4 professional training courses and workshops and 3 personal skills training courses.
- Purchase of teaching material and preparation of educational guides for the students with information on the 2 tasting fairs to be developed for the members of their families.
The results obtained include the equipping of the center for higher education and vocational training, the improvement of the level of formal education and vocational training for young people between 14 and 18 years of age, or the training given to older women who have received professional and personal training.
