The councilman of Cambiemos Murcia Sergio Ramos has denounced today the "partisan use" of the Extraordinary Plan of Investments in Pedanías, which includes 52 projects that will be carried out in 51 districts and is endowed with 14 million euros.
Ramos explained that most of the projects have been prioritized by the mayors, in "a non-transparent process in which a distribution has been made by political parties, not according to the needs of the neighbors."
For the mayor, the logical thing would be, and so he has asked in the Commission meeting this morning, that the decision on the election of the projects will be taken in the Plenary of the municipal boards, through a public contest and under clear criteria and objectives.
"There are projects that have not gone through the plenary sessions of the meetings and, most of them, have been prioritized by the foreigner alcale between the presented ones", has remarked Ramos.
This has led to a distribution of money by districts that depends on the party that presides over the board, and not the citizenship, because "has not been heard" previously nor has been taken into account how and who is going to take care of maintenance of the proyects.
Let's change Murcia bet for greater citizen participation in the municipal boards, so that neighbors are the ones who decide according to their needs.
